Starting today, The Beer Junction celebrates its 5th Anniversary. Events are listed below.

Just over five years ago, I met Morgan Herzog at the small retail space that would become The Beer Junction. I thought the space was too small, but knowing how desperately West Seattle needed a bottleshop, I knew Morgan’s plan would succeed. Check out the post I did back when The Beer Junction was preparing to open 2010, click here.

Less than two years after initially opening, The Beer Junction moved into its new/current location. We all know what’s happened since then. Congratulation to The Beer Junction. Below is the calendar of anniversary events – starting today and running through the weekend.

Cinq Houblon (french for “5 Hop Saison”) – Brewed with a high fermentation using a blend of traditional Saison yeast. To celebrate our 5th Anniversary, Sound Brewery used 5 aromatic hops (Pekko, Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin) to compliment the fruity, somewhat spicey character imparted by the fermentation. 7.9% ABV
