Earlier this year I told the story of Human People Beer and the brewery’s plans to open in Seattle. The plans have changed since I posted that story in February and the people behind Human People are once again looking for an appropriate spot for its will-be brewery, but that has not stopped them from releasing beers. Human People Beer has guest-brewed at breweries around town and beyond, brewing its beers on other people’s brewing systems and then releasing the beers at pop-up locations. These beers provide some insight into what we can expect when Human People Beer comes to fruition.
The brewery offers you two of those beers this week, available for pick up this Thursday and Friday (Oct. 10th and 11th) in Seattle, at Stoup Brewing. Details below. The first beer is a collaboration beer brewed with Humble Sea Brewing, a California brewery based in Santa Cruz. The second is a hazy hoppy ale, which was released previously but is still available. They’ll release Of The Moment Fresh Hop Citra WC Pils along with High Hopes Hazy Hoppy Ale (previously released).
“It is fresh hop season and we have been impatiently waiting to release this beer to you! Of The Moment – Fresh Hop Citra WC Pilsner! And our first collaboration release with Humble Sea,” said an announcement from Human People Beer. “This beer will be made available to you in Ballard on THURSDAY October 10th and FRIDAY October 11th. We are going to try something different and sell at a new spot, right in front of Stoup Brewing in Ballard.”
