No-Li Brewhouse and partners raise over $30K for local families

In just 24 hours, they raised over $30,000 for the families of students at one of the state’s most economically challenged schools.

Not just lip service. It’s real. Spokane’s No-Li Brewhouse thinks of itself as something more than a brewery. The region’s largest brewery is driven to contribute to the overall well-being of the community. No-Li Brewhouse doesn’t do it out of any sense of obligation or for the sake of publicity. It comes straight from the heart. The owners, John and Cindy Bryant, are really good people.

The latest example involves a project that raised over $30,000 in 24 hours for local families. No-Li Brewhouse teamed up with three Gonzaga basketball players and Spokane Quaranteam to support the families of children at nearby Logan Elementary School, which is one of the most economically challenged schools in the state. The money is providing 277 families with $50 gas cards and $50 grocery cards.

They are still accepting donations, for those of you who want to contribute, with 100% of the proceeds donated. See below.

“Craft brewing brings unity and outreach to our neighbors and communities,” says John Bryant. “The art and craft of brewing opens doors, brings down walls, and transforms communities with goodness and unity.”

For this project, No-Li Brewhouse partnered with three basketball players from Gongaza University, which is practically right across the street: Rasir Bolton, Anton Watson, and Ben Gregg. Reportedly, the three were offered NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) compensation for their involvement but refused payment.

The other partner in the project was Spokane Quaranteam, which was founded during the pandemic with a mission of helping neighbors in need.

“I want you to know that there are people right across the street from you that are struggling, and if you don’t know that, you don’t know,” said Rick Clark, Founder of Spokane Quaranteam and Giving Backpacks. “We want to thank you for your kind hearts and giving to those in need.”
