Seattle’s Cloudburst Brewing made a name for itself by brewing one-off beers. They’re always good, but rarely does owner/brewer Steve Luke brew the same beer twice. The other day Cloudburst released its latest one-time-only creation, Silence Breaker IPA. The name is an homage to all of the brave people who speak out about sexual assault.
More than an a simple nod of recognition, Silence Breaker IPA is raising funds for the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center. For each pint sold in the Cloudburst Brewing tasting room the brewery is donating a dollar to the cause. A number of bars around the Seattle area will be doing the same. Like most of Cloudburst’s beers, once this one is gone it is gone forever, so go get some soon.
