Northwest World Beer Cup Winners
- As always, we only know who won medals. We do not know what breweries and beers did or did not enter the judging. Maybe that’s why your favorite IPA did not win.
- Washington’s breweries brought home 15 medals this year. Oregon’s breweries brought home a whopping 29 medals!
- Oregon breweries swept the German-style sour ale category (38 entries in the category). Damn, 10 Barrel Brewing, now you’re just showing off! Good job!
- Two of the three medals in the German-style pilsener category went to NW breweries: pFriem got the gold and Seapine got the silver. Impressive, especially in such a highly contested category–221 entries.
