The Seattle Mariners today announced the formation of the Mariners Bar League, a collection of bars and pubs where fans can come together and root for the Mariners. What makes this special is that members of the newly formed Bar League have made a commitment to the team and its fans. In other words, they guarantee that the games will be on the TVs. Also, the Mariners will offer special tickets opportunities only available to fans patronizing the Bar League locations. More stuff, too — other perks for fans and for the bars involved.

Currently, there are 18 Bar League locations, with plans to add more over the coming weeks. The Bar League includes some beer joints that are familiar to craft beer lovers, including all of the Flatstick Pub locations. The list also includes beer stalwarts like Hooverville, Rhein Haus, and Queen Anne Beer Hall.

“The Mariners Bar League is a great opportunity for fans to follow the team all season long and make new connections with fellow fans at great local establishments,” said Gregg Greene, Seattle Mariners Vice President of Marketing.
