Seattle Brewery and Beer Spots – the latest updates to our listings

I just updated our map of Seattle Breweries and Beer Spots. It’s been a couple of months, so there are some things I’d like to share. Some of this stuff is newer than the rest. If I missed anything, please let me know. Here are the updates.

Fast Fashion Brewery and Taproom opened a few weeks ago on First Avenue in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood. It’s a cool, eclectic space just a couple blocks south of T-Mobile Park. Fast Fashion opened a tasting room on lower Queen Anne a while back, but the brewery/taproom is new. Right next door to Hooverville. 1723 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134.

Stoup Brewing took over Optimism Brewing’s location. Stoup is now operating its Capitol Hill taproom and brewery in addition to its locations in Ballard and Kenmore. 1158 Broadway, Seattle, WA, 98122.

Future Primitive Brewing opened a second location, a taproom on Alki Beach. (Pictured at the top of the post.) Literally, it is right across the street from the sand. Large outdoor seating area, cozy indoor seating area. Formerly, West Seattle Brewing’s Tap Shack. 2536 Alki Ave SW # 106, Seattle, WA 98116.

Reuben’s Brews Fremont Taproom opened last weekend. The brewery’s second location is a taproom only, with food — the beer is still brewed down the road a spell in Ballard. Still has that new taproom smell. 4401 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103.

Old Stove Brewing in Ballard is now open. The company calls it third location The Gardens. The location was previously the Lagunitas
Seattle brewery and taproom. Expansive beer garden, BBQ-focused menu, and Old Stove beers. They just released the first beer brewed at this location. 1550 NW 49th St, Seattle, WA 98107.

Holy Mountain Brewing’s Greenwood taproom, in case you missed it, this one opened a couple months ago in, you guessed it, the Greenwood neighborhood. Unlike the first and original taproom at the brewery, this taproom welcomes kids. 7009 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103.

Here Today Brewery and Kitchen, a wholly new brewery on the scene, opened a few months ago near Seattle’s waterfront, but now that the cruise ships are gone, it’s much easier for locals to visit the brewery at 2815 Elliott Ave Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98121.

Machine House Brewing successfully completed its move from Georgetown to Hillman City. Get your fresh, cask ales at 5718 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118.

Tin Dog Brewing has reopened in the South Park neighborhood. Limited hours at the taproom, so keep an eye on their Facebook page to see when and if they’re open. 309 S Cloverdale St Suite A2, Seattle, WA 98108.

Pike Brewing is no longer brewing at its location on First Avenue, but the Pike Pub and Fish Bar are still there and still serving great beer and food. As has been widely reported, they’re moving production to a new, state-of-the-art facility in SoDo (no taproom).
