See all our posts about Seattle Beer Week 2014. Below, Seattle Beer Week event information.*

Seattle Beer Week is not designed to focus entirely on Seattle-brewed beer, however this event is intended to focus on hyper-local brews. Each year the Beveridge Place Pub hosts Seattle Cask-O-Rama and invites local breweries to provide kegs (firkins) of cask-conditioned beer. In a city with over 40 breweries, it isn’t hard to build a very solid beer lineup.

Cask-O-Rama celebrates Seattle-brewed beers poured the way the Lord intended, without gas. That is, from Firkins lined up along the bar top. No CO2, no hand pumps or beer engines, just gravity pushing the beer downward into your glass.

The event takes place Thursday and Friday, May 8th and 9th, from 6:00 pm to midnight each night, at the Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle.

You can order beer by the pint, or you can assemble your own taster tray.

If you love Seattle and you love cask-conditioned beer, then  you should not miss this one.
