GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. Winner has been determined.
People sometimes accuse me of being a homer when it comes to beer. I don’t deny it. I’ve lived here all my life, I am a child of the Craft Beer Revolution, and I happily carry the flag for my hometown breweries (among others). That’s why I am so excited for the 2nd Annual BREW Seattle beer festival on Friday, October 10th.
Organized and operated by the folks at Seattle magazine, BREW Seattle is the city’s only beer festival dedicated entirely to Seattle-brewed beers. BREW Seattle features more than 60 beers from more than 20 of the city’s breweries. We share the list of breweries and beers below. But wait, there’s more!
We are giving away a pair of tickets to the event. To enter the drawing, leave a comment here or on our Facebook page telling us which Seattle brewery is your favorite (within city limits). We will pick a winner at random this Friday, October 3rd.
Save Five Bucks Per Ticket. We have a promo code for the event. When ordering your tickets, use the code BEERBLOG to get $5 off the ticket price. Click here to get tickets.
See our previous post about this event, or see below for more details.
BTW: In case you’re thinking that there might not be enough breweries in Seattle to support this event, recognize that today there are more than 50 licensed breweries in Seattle. Think of this event as a sort of dress rehearsal for the Zombie Apocalypse, when we’ll need to build a wall around the city and make do. Or just think of it as an event that showcases beers brewed here, exclusively.

Stoup! Every one of their beers is a perfect example of that style. But really, you’d be hard pressed in this town to not find exceptional beer on every corner.
