Reuben’s Brews is about to reopen The Brewtap, sort of

For more than 15 months the alternate taproom sat dormant. While the main taproom on 14th Avenue stayed open as much as the rules and safety allowed, the Brewtap, aka “the other Reuben’s Brews taproom,” has remained shuttered since the pandemic began.

Located at the company’s production facility, the taproom formerly known as The Brewtap will reopen on June 19th with a new name: The Canning Line.

Pre-pandemic at The Brewtap.

The initial plan is for The Canning Line to operate Thursday through Sunday from 3:00 – 9:00. This is the third Reuben’s Brews tasting room in the Ballard vicinity. In late April, Reuben’s Brews opened the Barrel House, as we reported here. Like the Barrel House, in addition to walk-up visitors, The Canning Line will accept reservations, which can be made online here.

The Canning Line at Reuben’s Brews is the newest tasting room experience from the Reuben’s Brews team, and will be replacing The Brewtap at 800 NW 46th St in Ballard. This space will initially be open Thursday through Sunday, 3pm to 9pm for both reservations and walk-ups.

The Canning Line offers an intimate space for our guests to gather with a unique guided experience to our award-winning beers within view of our packaging hall and canning line. Through twelve draft lines and a breadth of can and bottle options, we’ll be pouring through the best of what we brew, including limited cellar offerings from our barrel-aged and wild/sour programs. Our team is always available for a conversation about the beer being poured, or anything else you’d like to know about the brewing process or what’s happening at the brewery, and we encourage you to ask questions!
