Optimism Brewing Company is hosting the Pink Boots Society 2018 collaboration beer festival, Fierce Ladies Beer Fest, on April 26th at its brewery and taproom in Seatttle. The event features 10 beers brewed collaboratively by women in the brewing industry. The beers were brewed by women, that’s true, but the event is all-gender. Here’s more info from Optimism.
Sisters Are Brewing It for Themselves: A beer fest featuring all women-brewed craft beer!
The fierce ladies of local breweries in Washington state brewed tasty beers on International Women’s Day, so be sure to come and taste them all and mingle with the women behind the brews.
The beers and the festival all benefit the Pink Boots Society, an organization that assists, inspires and encourages women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education. (Anyone who makes part of their salary from the beer industry is invited to join!)
Tickets are $20 ($21.83 including tax) for 8 tastes and you’ll also have the option to purchase full pints from any of the participating breweries:
