Machine House Brewery is now open in Hillman City

The move across town is complete, from one Seattle neighborhood to another

As of July 19th, Seattle’s Machine House Brewery is now open in the Hillman City neighborhood. The location is familiar to local beer lovers. This was the home of Spinnaker Bay Brewing and then NW Peaks Brewing. The address is 5718 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118.

As we reported previously, the company recently moved out of its longtime home in the Georgetown neighborhood. For the past several weeks Bill Arnott and his team have worked hard to get the doors open in Hillman
City. Today is the day.

What can you expect at the new digs? You’ll find eight beer engines waiting for you, pouring Machine House’s delicious cask-conditioned, real ales. Along with that, some draft lines offer more treats from Machine House and guests. Cider, too.

“After a long month of moving and building we are excited to be back open and pouring our beer for you in our new location in Hillman City,” the company said on Instagram. “We are super excited to be in this neighborhood and we are already feeling right at home!”

“Just like in our old location, we are an all-ages taproom and welcome guests to bring in outside food if you like. We will be bringing back many of our events as we get settled in here.”

Machine House is still working on getting the actual brewhouse up and running, and the outdoor seating area is awaiting some final approval from the city. Otherwise, the new location is open for business as of today. The freshly open brewery has a busy week ahead of it. The Hillman City Art Walk is tomorrow (Thursday) evening. On Friday at 6:00, the brewery will air the Women’s World Cup match between the USA and Vietnam.
