Back in November, Lowercase Brewing opened its new taproom in Georgetown. It’s a taproom only, with the brewery still located in South Park. Issues with city codes forced the closure of the old taproom at the brewery.
Lowercase Brewing just announced that on January 21st it will host a special event at the new taproom in Georgetown to commemorate the company’s third anniversary. Tickets are already available online for $10. The cost of admission includes two tickets, each good for beer or food. The tickets are about crowd management as much as anything else.
“As we’ve done in the past [at the old taproom] we are going to host a ticketed gathering at our new taproom to commemorate our third year,” says Chris Smith, owner of Lowercase Brewing. “This year however, is going to be quite a bit bigger and cooler! We will be releasing three unique collaboration beers brewed with Georgetown neighbors, feature multiple food options and are trying to nail down some music (most likely a DJ) to round things out. We also will be renting out the unoccupied space directly behind us to provide ample warm and dry indoor space… versus previous years. It’s going to be a party!”
Lowercase Brewing will share more information about all of this in the coming weeks via their social media channels – follow them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. In the meantime, tickets are already available online.
