Two things we do exceedingly well around here are beer and seafood. It’s time once again for the annual winter celebration of beer and food at Ivar’s. The annual Ivar’s NW Winter Beer Taste happens on Thursday, December 4th in Seattle at Ivar’s Salmon House on Lake Union.
Along with beer from ten northwest breweries, the all-inclusive ticket price gets you bites of Ivar’s tasty seafood, like alder-grilled Coho salmon and bacon-wrapped prawns, along with other not-so-fishy treats. Featured breweries include: Georgetown, Maritime, Chuckanut, Pyramid, Hales, Red Hook, Diamond Knot, Fremont, Elysian, Pike.
Featured bites include (subject to some substitutions):
• Braised beef, Parmesan potato croquette, oven dried tomatoes
• Seared scallop, polenta cake, picholine olive tapenade
• Alder grilled Coho salmon, caramelized pears, crème fraiche, phyllo cup
• Bacon wrapped prawn skewer, porter syrup
• Seared rare top sirloin, gorgonzola risotto fritter, roasted red pepper relish
• Uli’s German bratwurst sausage, charred onion jam, horseradish crème fraiche, Essential Bakery baguette
• Seared rare Ahi tuna, wonton crisp, pickled ginger and cilantro aioli
Price of event is $35 and is inclusive of all tastings and paired appetizers

Going through this article reminds me of my previous roommate!
He constantly kept preaching about this. I most certainly will send this article to him.
Fairly certain he’s going to have a very good read. I
