“Once again, Verity Credit Union is thrilled to team up with the Ballard brewing community to sponsor the Third Annual East Ballard Oktoberfest”, says Alicia Diefenbach, Community Relations Specialist.  “Spending the afternoon with our neighbors, brewers, and an amazing Oompah band is the perfect way to celebrate this community tradition.  We look forward to passing out pretzel bites and souvenir Polaroids to help attendees commemorate the day”.

The event will kick off in festive fashion with a traveling oompah band. The Oompah Machine will start playing at Stoup Brewing at 1 p.m. They will then will march revelers to Populuxe Brewing at 2 p.m., Lucky Envelope at 3 p.m. and Reuben’s Brews at 4 p.m.

Each brewery will have at least one special Oktoberfest brew and a limited-edition 0.5 liter commemorative stein or boot. You can purchase glassware for $6 empty or $10 filled.

And because it’s not a party without great food, revelers will have several options to choose from. In addition to pretzel bites provided by Verity Credit Union, each brewery will also have a food truck on site.
