Figurehead Brewing opening new location in Seattle on April 16th

Figurehead Stone Way brings beer, other beverages, and food to another Seattle neighborhood.

Seattle’s Figurehead Brewing opened in 2016. The company just announced that it will open its second location on Tuesday, April 16th. The new taproom is located on Stone Way, about three miles from the original brewery in Magnolia. Local beer lovers are familiar with the neighborhood; the new figurehead taproom is near the Fremont Brewing Urban Beer Garden. The original taproom in Magnolia will remain open.

“We’ve been hard at work over the last year transforming our space on Stone Way and we can’t wait to show it to our new neighbors,” says Figurehead Brewing’s founder Bob Monroe. “We hope to create connections with and between customers in Fremont and Wallingford, just as we’ve done in Magnolia since 2016.”

Figurehead Stone Way is not just a simple brewery taproom. It is described as a casual spot for lunch and dinner, welcoming guests interested in kinds of libations. In addition to beer, the new location will feature a diverse drink menu and a small food menu. The drink list will include cider, wine, kombucha (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), sake, tea, nitro cold brew coffee, and more.

For the food, Midnite Ramen and Ooshiba Yakitori & Sushi will operate on-site from an adjoining space. Customers are invited to order an assortment of Japanese comfort foods to enjoy in the taproom with their favorite beverages. In the center of the building, an outdoor courtyard was transformed into an urban oasis with a live tree and a wall of bamboo.
