KENMORE, WA — Cairn Brewing, Kenmore’s newest brewery, will host “Barking, Brews and Spring Photos, Too” to benefit MustLuvBoxers Rescue on April 8th.
The photo event will be 1 to 3pm on Saturday, April 8th and will be feature springtime props to personalize the photos of each dog. The event is the second hosted by Cairn with MustLuvBoxers.
Chris Zanassi, MustLuvBoxers Board Member and Social Media Coordinator, said “We had so much community support for the photo event in the fall with a wide range of dog breeds coming out Of course, there were lots of boxers, too!”
The event offers a photo shoot for any breed dog that is $20 for two digital photos. There is also a discount of $5 off photos with a bag of dog food to be donated to the Regional Animal Services of King County—plus Cairn will offer a discount of $1 off any pint the day of the event.
Jen Boyd, Cairn co-owner, said “ We’re a dog-friendly taproom so partnering with MustLuvBoxers is so fun for us. At the last event we had more than 20 dogs in the taproom at once. It was a great day and benefited a great organization.”
Before it was a rescue operation, MustLuvBoxers was an online forum dedicated to sharing all types of information about the Boxer breed–from promoting rescue efforts, exchanging health and training tips to collectively discussing all aspects of being a loving and responsible pet owner. The heart and soul of the MustLuvBoxers forum was rescue–thus MustLuvBoxers Rescue was born.
MustLuvBoxers strives to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted and abandoned Boxers all over the Pacific Northwest and will continue this endeavor until no Boxer is left behind. As an all-volunteer rescue, no one gets paid and every penny brought in through donations and fundraising directly benefits the Boxers in our program.
