Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle is preparing for Big Wood 2016, the annual celebration of wood-aged beers that sees every tap in the place turned over to wood-aged stouts, sours, scotch ales, porters, barleywines, and whatever else.
The event runs from Thursday, December 1st thru Sunday, December 4th. Likely, there will be a line when they open the doors at 11:00 on Thursday because the most ardent barrel geeks will not want to miss anything too important, but you can relax, knowing that there’s plenty of beer to go around, the event runs all weekend, and Brouwer’s Cafe handles these kinds of events and crowds with impressive ease.
