On Saturday, November 7, Elliott Bay Brewery hosts the Barrel-Aged Invitational at it’s Lake City Way location in North Seattle. The event showcases barrel-aged beers and ciders, especially those on the sour side. Not only will guests sample beers from Elliott Bay’s cellar, but also a selection of beers and cider from other producers (list below). Also, food from Elliott Bay’s kitchen.

According to Dan Ashley, lead brewer at Elliott Bay Brewery in Lake City, this event is the highlight of the year. “This event is our opportunity to not only showcase all the fun stuff we do in our barrel program, but we get to invite our friends who also have invested the time and effort into barrel aging beer and cider, and serve all these unique flavors at one event for our awesome customers. We will have spirit- and wine-aged strong ales, as well as sour beers with and without fruit.”

The event takes place in the Cascade Hall, the event space at Elliott Bay Pubic House and Brewery on Lake City Way.
