Bad Jimmy’s Brewing is changing but it is not closing

Bad Jimmy’s Brewing is shifting gears. The Seattle brewery recently announced that it is changing things up quite a bit, but is not closing. This is in response to the shifted landscape of our post-pandemic world.

“WE ARE NOT CLOSING! But we are changing the model” said a post on social media. “We will be offering liquor, food and much more indoor seating and space. This change will take time but we will not be moving forward with the Bad Jimmy’s brand.”

The current operating model –a brewery with a taproom– has proven unsustainable so the company will move away from the Bad Jimmy’s brand and resurrect itself as a new concept. They’ll downsize the brewing system, add food and liquor to the program, and increase the size of its indoor seating space. They’ll continue to offer a venue for live music, burlesque, comedy, and more.

Understandably, the change will not happen overnight. Bad Jimmy’s Brewing just wants to be transparent. It is not closing, but it is changing. Stay tuned as it all comes together.

In the meantime… “Time to grab that Bad Jimmy’s branded gear and glassware, it’s about to be vintage. We love you all and can’t wait to share with you our new concept and look. Cheers!”
