At the recently concluded Great American Beer Festival, five of Washington’s breweries walked away with medals for the first time. In my opinion, these are some of the least-recognized and/or most underrated breweries in the state.

Airways Brewing of Kent, Washington announced today that it will close one of its two locations. The Airways Bistro and Beer Garden in downtown Kent will close permanently on Saturday, October 26th.
