A new beer epitomizes the power of the Brewshed Alliance

This new, collab IPA launches this Thursday: Clean Water for Great Beer IPA. The name says it all. The mission of the Brewshed® Alliance is to unite breweries to promote the protection of the water sources that are essential for the production of great beer. The Brewshed Alliance is a beer-focused arm of Washington Wild.

The official release event takes place in Seattle, at Here Today Brewery + Kitchen. Here are more details about the beer and the event, straight from the source:

“Featuring 76 brewing industry partners, the Clean Water for Great Beer IPA reaches across both sides of the Cascades with an “east side” version brewed by Lumberbeard of Spokane and a “west side” version brewed by Here Today of Seattle, using Salmon-Safe ingredients donated by Yakima Chief Hops, Linc Malt, and Cold Stream Malt.”

“A truly epic collab, this beer epitomizes the power of the Brewshed® Alliance and is a celebration of the craft brewing industry’s commitment to protecting watershed health from peak to pint. Promoting the essential connection between our healthy forests and rivers, and the clean water they provide, every sip of this Hazy IPA is a reminder of our responsibility to safeguard our wild places.”

“To celebrate, please join us on Thursday for a release party at Here Today Brewery + Kitchen along Seattle’s Waterfront! WA Wild staff will be on hand from 5-8pm to answer questions about our current campaign—Outstanding Resource Waters (ORW) designation—and help folks submit Action Cards to send to Ecology. We will also be selling our new Brewshed® t-shirts!”
