The 4th annual Washington Hop Mob kicks off tomorrow at Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle (Thursday, February 2nd). Thereafter, more events around the state. We call it the Hop Mob Roadshow. This year, 49 of Washington’s 328 breweries brewed triple IPA for release during Hop Mob (February 2 thru 12). Below, we list all of the Hop Mob events. At the kickoff event you will find at least 32 Washington-brewed Triple IPAs on tap. As far as we know, the Hop Mob Kickoff event features the largest collection of triple IPAs ever tapped at once. Actually, last year’s kickoff event, also at Brouwer’s Cafe, featured over 40 triple IPAs on tap, but this year they decided to back things off a bit. No sense showing off. Thirty-two triple IPAs should be enough.
Following tomorrow’s official kickoff, more events take place around Western Washington over the course of ten days. From Ben’s Bottle Shop in Vancouver to Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, there’s probably at least one event near you, assuming you live west of the cascade divide.
This year the roadshow stops in Bellingham, Snohomish, Kirkland, Renton, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, and Vancouver. Each event will feature at least eight Washington-brewed triple IPAs on tap and will offer the beers in taster-sized pours or full pours. Exactly how many beers and the other details vary for each event.

Join us at the Bergschrund as Seattle takes on the Greater Puget Sound in a triple IPA fest featuring huge and hoppy IPAs. We will be featuring 10 triple IPAs for your enjoyment.
