Winter Beer Fest returning for 2023, with some cool changes

Washington Winter Beer Fest is back for 2023, bigger and better than ever. The state’s premier seasonal beer event returns to Hangar 30 at Seattle’s Magnuson Park on December 15th and 16th. Tickets are on sale now. More info below.

More than 40 Washington breweries will pour at the event this year. Perhaps the biggest change, the event now offers a VIP opportunity.

Another significant change this year that most people will not recognize or care about is that the event is back in the hands of the Washington Brewers Guild. Proceeds benefit that non-profit organization, which works to represent the state’s breweries in matters of policy and politics, and also fosters a sense of community among the state’s breweries. (Previously, the fest was operated by the now-defunct WA Beer Commission. I know, eyes glazing over with disinterest.)

“The festival has created so many beautiful memories and the Washington Brewers Guild is so honored to organize the fest once again,” said an announcement from The Guild. “This year, we’d like to give back to the community—we will work with Youth Care, an organization that strives to end youth homelessness.”

VIP
$85 advance online/$90 at the door. Includes (10) 4-oz tastings, 1-hour early entrance, access to VIP lounge (snacks and other special treats included), swag bag, and souvenir tasting glass.
