The soft opening is this weekend. The grand opening is imminent.
Recluse Brew Works in Washougal, Washington just announced its soft opening. Plans call for a grand opening in December, but in the meantime, the new brewery/taproom is slated to open softly this weekend — Saturday, November 18th. The location is in the Port of Camas-Washougal’s industrial park, not far from 54-40 Beer Co. Find Recluse Brew Works at 4035 S. Grant St., Suite No. 102, Washougal, WA. The person behind Recluse Brew Works is August Everson. After studying brewing at the Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago, Everson moved to the PNW, earning some pro brewing chops in Portland at Widmer Brothers Brewing and then at Wayfinder Beer. Now he is opening his own place.
“We are doing a soft opening for the next couple of weekends until we are ready for a true grand opening in December,” the company said on social media. “This Saturday, Nov 18 we’ll be slingin’ our beers from 11-8p, Matt from @goosedontbefrightened will be setting the most excellent vibes with a DJ set from 1-5, and the fabulous @normitascuisine will have their food truck here from 12-6. We are kid friendly so bring the whole fam. Sadly, we love pups but can not welcome dogs at this time. See ya Saturday”
Maybe you’ve already seen Recluse Brew Works beers out there in the wild at places like Ben’s Bottle Shop in Vancouver, but you can go check out the source starting this weekend. Keep an eye on Recluse’s social media channels to find out about the grand opening.
