Yakima is one of the few place where craft beverage producers can actually create their concoctions with locally grown ingredients. Hops, grapes, grains, apples, and so on. On November 4th, you are invited to stroll around downtown Yakima and visit local businesses where you’ll sample beer, wine, spirits and cider. It’s the Yakima Craft Beverage Walk.
As far as the beer goes (and there will be more than beer involved), you’ll enjoy beers from Bale Breaker Brewing, Berchman’s Brewing, Bron Yr Aur Brewing, Cowiche Creek Brewing, Hop Nation Brewing, Redifer Brewing, and Yakima Craft Brewing.

Eleven businesses in Downtown Yakima will play host to the third annual Craft Beverage Walk on November 4, 2017. The event is a collaboration between the Downtown Association of Yakima and Craft Beverage Yakima.
The event features the producers of the Yakima craft beverage industry, sampling their product in various downtown business locations.

“Yakima is one of only a handful of places that can claim to be growing raw materials for, and then making cider, beer, wine, and spirits,” said Phil Cline, owner of Naches Heights Winery and President of Craft Beverage Yakima. “This is an opportunity for people to have a farm to glass experience located within a two block radius.”
Producers include Antolin Cellars, Bale Breaker Brewing Co., Berchman’s Brewing Co., Bron Yr Aur Brewing Company, Cowiche Creek Brewing, Gilbert Cellars, Hop Nation Brewing Co., Kana Winery, NHV – Naches Heights Vineyard, Redifer Brewing Company, Swede Hill Distilling, Tieton Cider Works, Wilridge Winery, Yakima Craft Brewing Co.
Participating venues include 4th Street Theater, Day Spa Academy, Fit Studio, Hotel Maison, Kameo Flower Shop, Leading Force, Radio Yakima, Stems, The Field Group, Vintage Me, Wildflower Stylehouse, Yakima Maker Space

“The Craft Beverage Walk showcases our city’s rich beverage industry while getting folks into downtown and checking out a business or two that they maybe haven’t been in before,” said Victor De Long, President of D.A.Y.
Tickets are $20 each and come with a commemorative sampling glass plus 5 scrip for sampling beverages. Additional scrip will be available on site for purchase. The event goes from noon to 5 PM, and starts at the 4th Street Theatre.
