Once again this year, Ivar’s Acres of Clams is hosting the Ivar’s Northwest Winter Beer Tasting. Read on for your chance to win a pair of tickets.

The event takes place on Thursday, December 5th, 2013 at 6 to 9 p.m. at Ivar’s on Pier 53 in Downtown Seattle.

Beer from ten breweries will be paired with holiday tastes from Executive Chef Chris Garr. $35 gets you beer tastes plus bites.

Many of the planned tastes feature local purveyors. A sample: House-smoked pork belly sliders on Macrina Bakery focaccia with tomato basil chutney;  Zoe’s Meats pancetta-wrapped prawn skewers with Georgetown porter syrup; and  Uli’s habanero and jerk chicken sausage with roasted grape chutney.
