The Beer Junction regularly has great beer events, offering brewery-specific tastings on Thursdays and hosting other special tasting events throughout the year. The next couple of days are worth a special shout-out. Tonight, an amazing night with Deschutes, and tomorrow a spectacular night with Cascade. The beers will flow through the weekend, as supplies last.

Thursday, December 13th (5:00-8:00) Deschutes Brewery is coming to town and bringing 13 kegs with ’em for the event at The Beer Junction. Along with stuff like Brett Dissident, Jubelale 2015, and some familiar Deschutes favorites, they will pour a four-year vertical of Abyss and a three-year vertical of Black Butte Anniversary Series.

Friday, December 14th (6:00-9:00) Michael Mathis, the Head Brewer for Cascade Brewing, will visit The Beer Junction. They’ll have 11 kegs on tap from Cascade, including 10 of the company’s coveted sour beers. A few of them are special, vintage sours, like 2008 Sang Noir.
