Chuckanut Brewery and Breakside Brewery recently collaborated on a new beer: an American Pilsner. Each of the two breweries has earned countless awards and accolades over the years. Chuckanut Brewery introduces the next beer brewed on its 10-barrel system in Burlington. The brewery created a dark czech-style lager in collaboration with an old friend, Austin Beer Garden Brewery (ABGB), of Austin, Texas. 

Chuckanut Brewery collaborated with Aslan Brewing to create a new West Coast Pilsner, but there’s more to the story than that. This one brings some history back to life.

Rauch beer, or rauchbier, is brewed using smoked malt to impart a smoky flavor. When done well, the smokiness is balanced and restrained, like in Chuckanut Rauch Helles.
