Sixgill Beer Garden at the Fremont Fair Starts Today

Naked people on bicycles, art cars, food trucks, arts and crafts, live music, and beer. Time once again for the Fremont Fair, which starts today and runs through Sunday. Unless you’re new to Seattle,  you don’t need me to tell you about Fremont’s unique way of celebrating the longest days of the year. Just go see for yourself. Do not miss the Solstice Parade (Saturday at 3:00).

The Sixgill, in conjunction with the Fremont Arts Council, is hosting the Official Beer Garden of the Fremont Solstice Parade this weekend.

“We’re taking over the whole back parking lot for a big blowout,” says Ellen Kelly, publican at The Sixgill. “A significant portion of our proceeds will benefit the FAC and their ongoing organization of the Parade and promotion of the arts. Another awesome part about our beer garden is that we’ll be serving cool stuff.”

Tbreakaway_ipahe Sixgill beer garden will serve Double Mountain Brewing’s Vaporizer Pale, North Coast Brewing’s Scrimshaw Pilsner, Pfriem Family Brewers’ Wit, American Brewing’s Breakaway IPA, and Anthem Cider. Also, special solstice cocktails and house-made sausages.
