New destination in Fremont for great beer and food
Over this past weekend, Reuben’s Brews opened its new taproom in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Located on Fremont Avenue North, up the hill from “downtown Fremont,” Reuben’s Fremont Ave Taproom is a family-friendly, indoor-outdoor destination for food and beverages.
“Opening this new taproom is something that we’ve been planning to achieve for years and actively working towards for many months,” says co-founder and brewmaster Adam Robbings. “We’re so proud of the work our whole team put in to make this happen as quickly as it did and
we can’t wait to welcome the community in for a pint and some beer-battered fish and chips!”
“Getting this space over the finish line is a huge accomplishment for us,” adds co-founder Grace Robbings. “It also gave us an idea for another beer name: The Fallacy of Turnkey.”
Perhaps it wasn’t so easy as “turnkey,” but Reuben’s Brews made quick work of it, transforming the former wine-coffee bar into a brewery taproom in just a couple of months. The taplist includes 24 options ranging from everyday favorites to limited releases, hard seltzer to cider, and even non-alcoholic hop water.

Along with that, tasty casual fare by Reuben’s Eats. Hungry visitors familiar with the Ballard food truck will recognize a few items on the menu, but the kitchen here will also serve a variety of new mains and sides like beer-battered fish and chips, mac and cheese, and halloumi and fries.
The Reuben’s Brews Fremont Ave Taproom is open from 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily at 4401 Fremont Avenue North.
Original Post — One of the Ballard Brewery District’s most popular breweries, Reuben’s Brews, just announced that it is opening a new taproom in a nearby neighborhood. The Fremont Ave Taproom will offer the neighborhood a family-friendly, indoor-outdoor destination for beer and food at 4401 Fremont Avenue North.
Though the company has yet to announce an opening date, work at the new location will begin immediately. When the time comes, Reuben’s Brews will host a grand opening celebration at the location.
The brewery’s founders, Adam and Grace Robbings (pictured above), are well-acquainted with the neighborhood. “Fremont was one of the first neighborhoods we lived in after moving to Seattle, and it still holds a special place in our hearts,” says Grace Robbings, co-founder and head of the Reuben’s Brews Foundation. “Adam and I lived right down the street from this charming space for over 14 years, so when the chance came to expand Reuben’s Brews to this address, it felt like it was meant to be. And in the same way that we’ve forged connections with Ballard businesses and nonprofits, we look forward to building relationships with new community partners in Fremont.”
A press release from Reuben’s Brews explained that The new taproom will feature more than a dozen taps, including a curated selection of the brewery’s everyday favorites and latest limited releases. In addition, Reuben’s Eats will serve an updated variety of menu options. The Fremont Ave Taproom will be open daily from 11:00. – 10:00.
