Yesterday the PNWCA Cider Awards Festival kicked off at The Woods tasting room in Seattle. While patrons savored tasty ciders, a group of judges convened across town at Capitol Cider to conduct a blind tasting of all 145 entrants, divided into 14 categories. Gold, bronze and silver medals were awarded in each category. Winners listed below.

The Pacific Northwest Cider Awards Festival continues today at Seattle Cider Company’s tasting room, The Woods (4700 Ohio Ave S) from 1:00 – 10:00. The celebration features 30 ciders on tap, giving cider lovers the chance to enjoy specialty and limited edition ciders from producers throughout Washington, Oregon, Montana and British Columbia. The full list of ciders appears online at www.pnwca.com/festival.
