Pike Chocofest tickets on sale now, a great gift idea

This is a great gift idea, and it’s also a great pre-Valentine’s Day plan. Kill two birds with one stone. Dubbed, “foreplay before the big day,” tickets are now on sale for Pike Brewing’s 8th Annual Chocofest, a celebration of all the most beautiful, delicious and decadent things life in Seattle has to offer, with beer, booze and food provided by more than 65 of the area’s breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, cheese makers, bakers and chocolatiers.

This year the event takes place on Sunday, January 31st from 6:00 – 9:00 at the Pike Brewing Company’s brewery and pub near Pike Place Market. Tickets are on sale right now. The price of admission includes ten drink tokens, a commemorative glass, food, live music and discounted parking at a nearby garage.

It’s called Chocofest, but it’s about a lot more than chocolate. Beer is provided by some of the area’s top breweries, including some chocolate-infused cask-conditioned beers. You’ll also sample products from local distillers, wineries, restaurants, bakers, cheese makers, and, of course, chocolatiers. The list of participants is below.

Pike Chocofest benefits Puget Soundkeeper with a mission to protect and preserve the waters of Puget Sound. Soundkeeper actively monitors Puget Sound through kayak patrols and uses the Soundkeeper patrol boat on a weekly basis enlisting a network of trained volunteers to detect and report pollution.
