Seattle Cask-O-Rama at Beveridge Place Pub. Exactly what it sounds like. All Seattle-brewed beers, all cask-conditioned. Firkins lined up on the bar. (See our post about it.)

Saturday, May 9
Rob & Erik’s Brews & Bluegrass Festival – Hale’s Paladium hosts this annual event. Great beers and some of the area’s best bluegrass musicians. It’s a real hootenanny. (See our post about it)

Beer Pairing Dinner at Elliott Bay Lake City. Join Elliott Bay Brewing at the Lake City Public House for a special pairing dinner. Compared to many SBW beer dinners, this one’s a bargain. (See our post about it.)

Wednesday, May 13
Firkin-Firkin Throwdown at Elysian Capitol Hill. City versus State. The breweries of Seattle put up their best cask-conditioned firkins against the rest of the state. Seventeen firkins in all.

Sourfest at Brouwer’s Café. Love sour beer? This event is for you. BYOP (Bring Your Own Prilosec).

Bob’s Brown Release party at Nickerson Street Saloon. Join Georgetown Brewing for the annual release of Seattle’s most-philanthropic brew. Beer Week or not, this is a great event for a great cause. It will be released at other locations too, but 3:00 at the Nickerson is the big rumpus.
Holy Mountain Brewing Beer Dinner at the Brave Horse Tavern. Really, do I need to say more? Tom Douglas’ crew at the Brave Horse does fantastic beer dinners and Holy Mountain is, well, you know.

Melvin at the Pine Box. The best brewery you’ve never heard of. The best brewery in Wyoming. Melvin. That’s all. They’re bringing a hearse-full of beer.
