“Our brew house suddenly feels a lot more crowded, and a whole lot shinier,” Wingman Brewers told us in a recent email. The Tacoma brewery has some big news to share. “We recently got a new 7-barrel brewhouse and some tanks from Marks Design and Metalworks in Vancouver, WA. We chose the best, which we are very happy to say is made in the U.S.A. with American steel.”
Wingman Brewers invites you to stop by during taproom hours to see the new equipment. They’ve posted a few pictures on their Facebook page and have even put together a time lapse video of the installation process (below). The new system allows the brewery to produce a lot more beer. Five times as much, actually. It will still be a few weeks before they start pouring beers made on the new equipment.
Oktoberfest!
Saturday, October 19th: The Wingman Brewers Taproom celebrates Oktoberfest at the taproom. They’ll be pouring pumpkin beers, along with some great harvest and Oktoberfest beers. They’ll feature some special guest taps as well, including Dogfish Head Punkin’ Ale and Alpine Oktoberfest.
