Local Boys Taproom recently opened (softly) its 2nd location. The new spot is in Bremerton, near the ferry terminal. Their grand opening party runs for three days, this Friday, September 14th to Sunday, September 16th. With 40 taps of Washington Beer, Cider & Mead, they will have at least one keg from every operational brewery in Kitsap County along with some special barrel-aged treats from Fremont Brewing and Kulshan Brewing.

The original Local Boys Taproom is located just outside of Gig Harbor, near the Purdy Spit. The Bremerton shop is described as “quiet place with 30 seats at the bar and one TV with the volume off.”

“In our Purdy location, we tried to make it feel like you were going over to your buddy’s garage.. only with more beer,” says Bobby Holstein, Managing Partner, Local Boys Tap Room. “We’ve pretty much done the same thing in Bremerton with 40 taps and six doors of Washington bottles and cans.”

Local Boys is located four blocks from the ferry terminal in what is becoming the Bremerton Brewery district, there is great nearby food from Horse & Cow, El Balcon, Toro Lounge and the Bremerton Bar & Grill. The taproom  offers peanuts from CB’s Nuts in Kingston and outside food is always welcome. Jimmy John’s will even deliver. If you need one more stamp in your WABL passport, Local Boys Taproom is a WABL sponsor.
