1:25 – The most anticipated beer of the weekend is now on tap at the Buzz Cart – Big Al’s Imperial Peanut Butter Stout. Damn good! Buzz Cart is at the green tent.
12:45 – Just learned that Harmon Brewing is pouring Pale Ale brewed at their new facility. Harmon Brewing opened a new brewery/pub recently, an additional location. We knew the pub was open but didn’t know they were brewing there until now.
12:30 – After a couple showers (not light), things seem to be getting better. The Doppler agrees with my observation. It supposed to be better this afternoon.
We’re going to venture out from beneath the canopy and see how things are going. One thing for sure, plenty of people wandering around drinking beer.
11:30 – The gates are open and the crowd is arriving. Seeing a lot of dads with kids and moms in tow. No way Dad is going to let this weather screw up his day. You go Dad!
I won’t lie, the weather could be better. It’s drizzling on-and-off right now. An occasional shower. If you live in the northwest and you let this kind of weather stop you from doing the things you want to do, then you ‘re going to spend a lot of time sitting on the couch feeling sorry for yourself. In other words, come on out to the Washington Brewers Festival today. We’ve got room for you.
Come on out. We’ve got room for you and you won’t have to wait in line for beer. Stop by and see us at the Washington Beer Blog booth.
Sorry, I didn’t mean for the cans to get between the pickets of your white fence. On the other hand, I putted about as well as I expected to. Laughingly terrible, in other words. A pleasure meeting you, and a great fest in spite of the slight dampness.
