Here is another update from the Washington Brewers Guild. BTW, cheers to the Guild and to the Liquor and Cannabis Board! They’ve done some good work during this time of disruption.

Governor Inslee has issued a proclamation allowing the WA State Liquor and Cannabis Board to waive the penalties for failure to remit excise tax payment to the WSLCB through April 22nd.

The waiver is proactive to the date of the Governor’s declaration of a state of emergency, which occurred on February 29th. Please note, this does not waive taxes due but temporarily allows for late payment without assessing automatic, statute directed penalties.
