Update June 5 – More counties have moved on to the next phase of reopening. Please see our post about the counties that are now opening. Most brewery taprooms are able to open if they want under the current guidelines.
While the information below is still correct, it is outdated. Please find your favorite brewery on social media to see if they are open
(JUNE 4, 2020) First up, I am not suggesting that you go galivanting around the state irresponsibly. Do what you do, but be safe and be smart. People have asked what I know, so I thought I’d put together a list of the brewery taprooms that are now open for on-site consumption in some way, shape, or form in the counties that have moved on to Phase 2 of Washington’s reopening plan. Of course, just what I’ve heard and what I’ve gathered. (Above – fire pit, outdoor seating at Dru Bru, via Facebook.)
Not Listed
- Spokane County and Kitsap County are both open for phase 2. There are too many breweries in those counties for me to track and to list, so breweries in those counties aren’t included below. Check with your favorite breweries directly.
- The Yakima and Tri-Cities areas are still closed.
- The counties on the I-5 corridor north of Tacoma are still closed at this moment (Pierce, King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom). Snohomish has now applied for phase 2.
- Before you road trip across three counties, I’d suggest doing a bit of your own research to bolster and confirm the information below.
I am certain this is not all of them, but here are the breweries I know of with taprooms that are in some capacity open for business under Phase 2 guidelines.
