The news came down late last summer: Laurelwood Brewing was closing its brewing operations and switching to a contract model. (Read more about that development here.) Laurelwood continues to make beer through its contract partners and distributes its beers throughout Oregon and SW Washington. All that being said, and thankfully the beers are still available, but the brewing equipment is going up for auction in June, handled by James G. Murphy Co.
