Last Saturday we made the trip to Bellingham for some early St. Patrick’s Day celebrating. Sponsored by Boundary Bay Brewing, the first annual Bellingham St. Patrick’s Day parade wound its way through town before finishing at the brewery. (The parade was a thing to see, for sure.) The sun was shining on the beer garden, where a mob of thirsty paraders enjoyed a few brews and live entertainment. Across town at Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen, the post-parade party included music and dancers.
Wondering what a St. Patrick’s parade in Bellingham looks like? Well, we’ve got a video for you. The parade, the beer garden, and even some Irish dancers at Chuckanut.
“…a mob of thirsty paraders…” What a vivid (maybe even a little scary) description!
