If things don’t look quite right, know that we are experiencing some technical issues that we hope to resolve soon. In the meantime…

Odd Otter announces it is closing on December 31st until further notice. Hoping to find a way forward.

Odd Otter Brewing of Tacoma, WA is closing down its taproom, at least, until further notice and maybe forever. No word on the future of the brewery itself, but it sounds pretty dire. The company posted the following message on social media earlier this week:

“We are closing December 31st until further notice. Like a lot of small business in Tacoma, this year has been very difficult for us. Unfortunately, we have made the decision to close the taproom. We are trying to figure out a way forward for Odd Otter in 2024. We appreciate all the support you have given us over the past 9 amazing years and sincerely hope we can open our doors again.”

The taproom in downtown Tacoma is immensely welcoming for all of Tacoma’s diverse community members. We sincerely hope they find a path forward and otherwise wish them the best in the future.
