Lake Tapps Brewing releasing whiskey barrel-aged Parliament Porter

This Thursday, December 18, from 6:00 – 8:00, Lake Tapps Brewing Company invites you to stop in and try the first release of its Parliament Porter, a beer aged in Parliament Distillery Ghost Owl Whiskey barrels.

Like Lake Tapps Brewing, Parliament Distillery is in Sumner.  The beer has been resting in the barrels since Lake Tapps Brewing opened a few months ago. The beer is described as a smooth, barrel-aged porter, with hints of charred oak, toffee, chocolate, coffee and, of course, the flavor of Ghost Owl Whiskey.

You will also have a chance to meet the Parliament’s owner/distiller, Jarrett Tomal, and learn more about Parliament Distillery’s operation and success. We understand that there might even be a few cigars around for you to enjoy out back.
