It’s a unique kind of beer-fueled fundraiser. In 2018, Kulshan Brewing introduced the idea and invited other local breweries to join them for a collaborative event: Beer Prom. Of course, the pandemic created some interruptions, but now it is back. Local beer lovers are invited to a prom-like party featuring collaborative beers from 13 breweries.
This year it’s a 70s-themed Beer Prom that takes place on Saturday, May 21st at the Hotel Leo Ballroom in Bellingham. Tickets on sale now. Here’s the official invite from Kulshan Brewing:
Featuring 6 groovy, all-new collaboration beers from 13 of your favorite PNW breweries. Your future prom night includes a 70’s costume contest, a Royal Beer Court, a photo booth, raffle prizes, games, and live music by GrooveBot. All event proceeds benefit Lydia Place programs and services, helping to disrupt the cycle of homelessness in Whatcom County. Get tickets.
