A new, Belgian-inspired brewery now open in a familiar location

Toll Bridge Brewing is now open in Woodinville, WA. About a month ago, the brewery began serving beer in the location that previously housed Hop and Seed Brewing, which closed earlier this year. It is very near Métier Brewing. The taproom is open six days a week. The best way to stay informed about this new brewery is to follow Toll Bridge Brewing on Blue Sky, where it is most active and shares current information.

Here’s how the brewery describes itself: “We are a small, cozy brewery with a fondness for Belgian beer, located in Woodinville’s Artisan Hill neighborhood. Toll Bridge’s products are high quality, easy-drinking, and “Fiendishly Good.” Our initial product portfolio contains approximately fourteen (14) products, with the main focus on our Belgian styles. We are currently developing a small portfolio of unique beers containing bread with freshly milled flours, our homage to the importance of bread as both foodstuff and ancient brewing ingredient. We are also developing several non-alcoholic beverages as well for our non-drinking friends.”

“Join us October 31! Halloween Costume Contest! Come in costume and vote for the best… top costume wins a Belgian-inspired gift basket!”

“OUR FIRST FOOD TRUCK! HEY ALL! We are co-hosting Where Ya At Matt with Descentant Cellars on November 1 from 3-7pm. Be sure to hop to Métier Brewing as well and make a day of it!”

“ABOUT TOLL BRIDGE BREWING COMPANY. In everything we do from our beer to our future food, we challenge the idea that tradition is destined to be broken and that perfection is bad. Exclusivity means exclusion, and we live to share. We are creative thinkers who design and brew fiendishly good, traditional beers which challenge traditional thinking —these are great beers that are supporting a lively and diverse community through sharing, education, and unwavering quality.”

“Teri and Keith are a wife-and-husband team who share a common love of food and craft beverages, whether they be beer, wine, or spirits. They have been homebrewing for over twenty years, and while other homebrewers were experimenting with recipes – mainly hops and unusual ingredients – they spent the vast majority of their homebrewing careers perfecting their technique and refining their understanding of what makes an exceptional beer.”

“Ever since their first visit to Brussels in 2005, they have endeavored to perfect these time-tested beer styles. This has lead to a home brewery reminiscent of commercial operations, including conical fermenters and glycol chillers.”

“After years of searching for a suitable brewery location, Teri and Keith purchased the assets of Hops & Seed Brewing Co in March, 2025, from JM Cellars.”
