Hop and Seed Brewery finds a home of its own in Woodinville

Now open in Woodinville, with a kickoff party planned for October 21st.

For more than two years now, Hop and Seed Brewery has produced its beer on a nano-sized brewing system and served it within the confines of a winery’s tasting room in Snohomish. The company has now moved its operation to a home of its own in Woodinville at 18808 142nd Ave NE Suite 5B, Woodinville, WA 98072.

In 2021, Dru Seed, a longtime homebrewer and experienced wine producer, was offered an opportunity to pilot a nano-brewing operation inside the winery that had employed him for nearly a decade. While the winery space offered some great tools and resources, brewing operations were limited in frequency and scale, leaving the brewery searching for a space to increase production.

Also, Hop and Seed Brewery wanted to create its own taproom, with its own character and vibe. After four months of building renovations and scrapping together equipment, Hop and Seed Brewery is now happy that its new taproom is open to the public.

The new space is described as cozy, with seating for 25 people. It is nestled in Woodinville’s Artisan Hill district, which is home to dozens of wineries as well as Métier Brewing. In fact, Métier is right across the street.

No longer a nano-sized brewery, a 10-barrel brewhouse now keeps the beer flowing from 12 taps. Hop and Seed Brewery plans to begin canning its beer by the end of the year.
