Foggy Noggin celebrates 10th & 11th anniversaries this Saturday

Back when Foggy Noggin Brewing opened in Bothell, nobody had seen anything quite like it. A backyard shed turned into brewery. A garage transformed into a tasting room. It was a very suburban brewery, in a quiet Bothell neighborhood.

One might have imagined the operation to serve as a a test bed, a proof of concept experiment before opening a bigger brewery at a commercial location. Nope. More than a decade later, Foggy Noggin remains what its always been.

This Saturday, August 28th Foggy Noggin Brewery celebrates its anniversary. Actually, they are celebrating two anniversaries: this year’s and last year’s. Here’s the announcement from social media:

Due to COVID-19, we were unable to be open for our 10th & 11th Anniversary Celebrations. This Saturday – August 28th (12-5pm) we will feature our 2021 and 2020 Anniversary Ales, along with some other older vintages.

Each year for our Anniversary, we brew this classic English Old Ale 2021 Anniversary Ale (English Old Ale) 6.8% ABV – 55 IBU, which is traditionally brewed for special occasions. Rich British malts are well complemented with the earthy hop tones from the UK Goldings hops. Perfect to drink now, or an excellent ale to cellar for a few years to pick up some wonderful aging characteristics.

Pints of 2021 are $8 and also available in 22 ounce bottles ($10/each) or growler fills $22/each. Older vintage years bottles are available for purchase, inquire for pricing. Pick up several bottles or a case to age.
