Elysian Brewing, Stevens Pass team up for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center

Many of us are tired of winter. The meteorologists tell us that this has been the coldest winter in over 30 years. It has been dismal. But people who ski and snowboard have quite a different opinion. We say dismal, they say epic.

On Saturday, March 8th Stevens Pass hosts its first-ever banked slalom event: Slayride. It’s a one-day competition open to all skill levels. Throughout the action-packed day, participants can chill out and toast Fred Hutch in the Elysian Brewing beer tent, which will pour a variety of Elysian favorites like Dayglow IPA.

All participants are encouraged to fundraise for cancer research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Participants can create personal fundraising pages upon registering. Participants raising $100 or more are eligible to win prizes from Capita Snowboards, Union Bindings, Coal Headwear, Mammut, K2, Elysian Brewing Company and Stevens Pass. The top three fundraisers will receive prize packages from the event sponsors. Fundraise early and often and help cure cancer faster.

You can register and find out all the details about the event here.
