Elysian Brewing is nothing if not prolific, brewing something like 250 different beers over the course of its 17 year history. Brewing a creative and massive array of beers is just part of what makes Elysian one of America’s greatest breweries. By anyone’s reckoning, Dick Cantwell and his brew crew produce great beer and a lot of it.
But getting back to the “prolific” thing, Elysian is about to revisit some of its most-inspired recipes. Dick’s Picks will resurrect some favorites Elysian’s massive catalog of recipes. Some will be beers you recognize and remember, others will be a bit less obvious. Some of the beers were originally released in limited quantities. Dick’s Picks beers will be draft-only and will be available for general distribution. Keep an eye on Elysian’s Facebook page, or go to the company’s website and sign up to receive the email newsletter to stay informed about what beers to expect. First up will be Woodruff Ambrosia Maibock, available sometime around March 1. Check with any of Elysian’s three locations or ask your local pub about it.
