Ellensburg’s Winter Hop beer festival is unlike any other. On Saturday, January 17th, from 12:00 to 5:00, 20 different breweries will be serving up samples of their beers in the shops of downtown Ellensburg. Not just the bars, but the shops.
Slip into the furniture store for a couple of tasty samples and then walk over to the sporting goods store for a couple more. Pop into the record store and see what they’ve got on tap. Even the local newspaper -The Daily Record- will be serving beer. For you city slickers, downtown Ellensburg is easily walkable. Everything is within a couple blocks of each other.
The event will likely sell out so we advise that you get tickets now. Tickets are $20. The price includes a commemorative glass and 5 scrip (extra scrip will be available the day of the event). Tickets are available from the Ellensburg Chamber of Commerce. You’ll find ticket information below.
This is a chance for us west side beer lovers to head east and sample some stuff that rarely makes it over here to the rainy side of the mountains. See the list of brewers below.
